UNC Asheville's Events & Conferences Office is the starting point for all events and conferences taking place at the University for both internal departments and external individuals and organizations. Whether your function is an event or a conference, the Events & Conferences Office is here to support you and your function.
Below you will find intake forms divided into four categories of General Inquiries, Events, Conferences & Camps, and Student Organizations. The Events & Conferences Office will review your request and review the availability of University resources such as facility schedule, parking, public safety resources, equipment, and operations staff to ensure the appropriate resources are available to successfully implement your function.
Lead times for events and conferences are important to the successful coordination of each function, and the Events & Conferences Office appreciates as much notice as possible on your function.
Individuals and organizations curious about UNC Asheville and what we offer for events and conferences or simply needing more information on the University in respect to events and conferences, should complete our General Inquiry Form.
Events are generally single-day, single-location functions and often include catering and a speaking program. Examples of events include dedications, lectures, performances, concerts, lunches, receptions, and ribbon cuttings. The Events & Conferences Office recommends a lead time of ten weeks for catered functions, dedications and ribbon cuttings and a lead time of at least six months for lectures, performances, and concerts.
